The driver did not show up.

We advise you to kindly call or send a message to your driver through the app. If your driver doesn’t answer, please try again. If you still don’t hear back, kindly follow these steps:

  • Cancel the booking using the Xpress app.
  • Choose the cancellation reason from the options.

The driver started the trip without me on board the vehicle.

Xpress strives to provide you the best possible service. If the driver arrives at the origin and begins the trip without you, please call us immediately to report the incident.

Additionally, if this does occur, one of the these is also possible:

  • It was not you who requested for the ride.
  • You were mistakenly charged for the trip.
  • You were mistakenly charged the cancellation fee.

Whatever the case, if you have been charged incorrectly, please let us know so that we can correct the situation and give you a refund.

The driver asked me to cancel the ride.

If this happens, you don’t have to cancel the ride if this happens. Our drivers commit to take the rides they’ve accepted, and unless it’s an emergency, we ask them not to cancel. If you cancelled your trip and chose “Driver requested to cancel”, we’ll use this feedback to take action, particularly if they violated our rules.

The driver took a different route.

Xpress drivers are not allowed to take alternative routes unless the passenger requests it (provided the suggested route is efficient). If you have a certain route in mind, kindly inform our drivers. You may leave a review for your driver right after the ride is finished.

The driver asked for a tip.

Our drivers can ask for tips if they want to. They care about their reviews and do their best to make sure your ride is a good one. Tipping the driver is optional, but always appreciated. There are two ways to leave a tip: cash or the app. There is an option to tip after the ride is over.
